Umm Al Quwain is one of the emirates of the UAE. Located in the north of the country, and is currently ruled by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member of the Federation, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Ruler and HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mualla. Its capital city of Umm Al Quwain. The population of the emirate 49000 inhabitants (in 2000), and an area of 750 km 2.
